Why I Created These Noodle Kits & What They Mean to Me

If you’ve ever eaten a really good bowl of Thai noodles - the kind that hits your soul, not just your stomach - you know it’s more than just food. For me, it’s a connection to Thailand, my Thai family, to memories, and to the people I love. That’s why I started Yummy Thai Foods. Not just to sell noodles, but to share a piece of my heart (and my heritage) with you.

🇹🇭 The Craving That Started It All

As a Thai woman living in the U.S., I constantly find myself craving the Thai flavors that I grew up with. But as a busy mom, I don't always have the time or energy to cook from scratch. Every time I tried to make something like Pad Thai or Pad Kee Mao at home, it took forever to prep, I had to go to the Asian grocery store for ingredients, and many time, it just didn’t taste quite right.

I tried takeout but let’s be honest, most places use way too much sugar and not enough real Thai flavor. It just wasn’t the same. And with how expensive takeout is these days? Definitely not worth it.

🇹🇭 Making Real Thai Food Accessible

That’s when the idea hit me: What if I could take all the rich, bold flavors of Thai food and put them in a kit that anyone could cook... fast, easy, and authentic?

I didn’t want it to taste “Americanized”. I wanted it to taste like the noodles I grew up eating from street vendors in Thailand, layered, spicy, tangy, and balanced.

So I got to work. I partnered with small-batch suppliers in Thailand, and together we crafted each element with care. I mixed, tested, and adjusted until the flavors felt just right. I called my Thai mom, aunties, and uncles for feedback and making my family taste every version along the way. It had to taste real Thai, or it didn’t make the cut.

Every single kit I sell comes from that process. It’s not mass-produced by a factory overseas. It’s built from real Thai flavors, blended with love, and made to fit into your busy life.

I’m a mom of two little boys, and like many parents, I don’t have time for complicated recipes but I still want to eat something that tastes home made.

That’s why each kit is designed to be cooked in 15 minutes or less. Just add your favorite protein and veggies, and BOOM... Thai street food magic in your kitchen.
